Prayer request

Yesterday, we learned that Zach’s long-awaited transfer will happen today, the Lord willing! If all goes well, the transport team will fly in from Calgary early this afternoon after which Zach will leave Winnipeg HSC ICU (11 weeks after he arrived there) and be transported to a hospital in Calgary. The plan is for Megan to accompany him in the ambulance and on the airplane along with the medical team.

Please pray that the transfer will go smoothly. Pray that Zach’s lungs will handle the flight well and not experience further collapses. Pray that Zach may tolerate the move and be calm and free from agitation. Pray for wisdom and skill for the Winnipeg, Calgary, and transport medical teams as they care for Zach throughout the day. Pray for travelling mercies for Ed & Alice and James & Joanne as they make their way to Calgary to be with Zach and Megan there. Pray that this move will benefit Zach and that his body be strengthened and his mind healed.
